Starting Maisha Wellness was deeply personal for me. I wanted to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered, especially during the moments when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or heavy. Maisha means “life,” and to me, therapy is about helping people live more fully and freely in their own lives.
I’m a Registered Psychologist and I’ve spent the last several years walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, and the everyday complexities that come with being human. I have a special passion for working with couples. Helping them reconnect, strengthen their communication, and heal through conflict with care.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a mom of four who loves beach days, road trips, music, dancing, and slow moments with my family. I bring my whole self to this work and I hope Maisha Wellness can be a place where you feel safe bringing your whole self too.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative, strength-based, and person-centred. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy approaches to tailor sessions to each individual, couple, or family. My work is also trauma-informed and grounded in attachment and developmental models, helping clients understand how early experiences shape current patterns. Whether we’re exploring generational wounds or building new tools for connection, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and capable of meaningful change.
