Starting Maisha Wellness was deeply personal for me. I wanted to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered, especially during the moments when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or heavy. Maisha means “life,” and to me, therapy is about helping people live more fully and freely in their own lives.
I’m a Registered Provisional Psychologist and I’ve spent the last several years walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, and the everyday complexities that come with being human. I have a special passion for working with couples. Helping them reconnect, strengthen their communication, and heal through conflict with care.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a mom of four who loves beach days, road trips, music, dancing, and slow moments with my family. I bring my whole self to this work and I hope Maisha Wellness can be a place where you feel safe bringing your whole self too.
My Approach
My approach is collaborative, strength-based, and rooted in compassion. I pull from various modalities to tailor therapy to each unique person or relationship, and I’m trained in Level 1 Gottman Method for couples therapy. Whether we’re unpacking generational wounds or navigating a new chapter, I believe meaningful change happens when we feel safe and understood.
